Black Currant Seed Oil
Black Currant Seed Oil is rich linoleic acid (GLA) and Prostaglandin E1 (PGE1) are important essential fatty acids (EPAs) for maintaining a good state of health.

Benefits
The GLA and PGE1 contents of Black Current Seed Oil improper the following conditions:

Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)
The six common symptoms for women suffering from PMS: quick temper, depression, swollen chest, chest pain, headache and dizziness.
The content of essential fatty acids (EFAs') in PMS patients is relatively low. For people lacking EFAs, the concentration of lactogen, a female hormone, will rise. Lactogen affects our emotions and physiological metabolism.

The GLA and PGE1 transformed from black currant seed oil may reduce the lactogenic action while balancing the hormones produced by the ovary. During the second half month of menstrual cycle, there is a rapid change in female hormones. Here comes GLA and PGE1 to relieve the drastic changes of hormones and sooth discomfort.

A balanced diet, vitamin C supplement, certain vitamin B groups and minerals such as zinc, regular exercise, readjustment of lifestyle and relieving unnecessary pressure may help in treating PMS.

Hyperactive Children
Most hyperactive children feel thirsty frequently. Their urine is extremely dark in colour and its volume is scarce. This shows that the water in their bodies is evaporated through the skin. Symptoms such as thirst and water loss are characteristics of essential fatty acids deficiency.

Rheumarthritis
The content of prostaglandins in rheumarthritis patients loses its balance, and black currant seed oil is able to regulate the prostaglandin level.

Reduce cholesterol level
Black currant seed oil will take action to reduce the cholesterol when its concentration is too high.

Benefits
- Improves abnormal clotting of blood platelet
Blood platelets adhering on cholesterols may form thrombus that blocks bloodstream. Thrombus formed in ordinary arteries or veins may cause embolism leading to partial blockage of blood circulation. One way of lowering the risk of embolism is to reduce the level of coagulation of blood platelets and prevent them from clotting.
- Alcoholism
Increase PGE1 level of alchololics so as to reduce poor resistance and nervous system.
- Helps to relieve metabolic overweight
- Eczema
